Mill End Old Town
between the Hours
of Three and four he saw three Boys going into a pond in a Field called Johnsons Field
and soon after heard a Cry of Stop thief and saw Samuel Joseph running
from the said Pond towards Mutton lane
that he pursued him very close
calling out Stop thief and saw him take a pair of Shoes from under his Coat
and throw them from him in the said Lane which he took up in a moment says the
Silver Buckles produced were in the Straps of the said Shoes which he took in and never
lost Sight of him the said Samuel Joseph until he was taken which was within about Sixty Yard
from whence to throwed the said Shoes and buckles awaythat they had
the said Samuel Joseph to a Public house in Redmans Row
