The Information of James Qurk< no role >
Taken the 19th. day of May 1785 .

Who upon his Oath Saith That about Five
Weeks ago one John Pearson< no role > who frequently
came to his House as acquaintance and feild
feloniously Stole therein one of His Cloak of the
Value of 20s. his property That he did not see him
afterwards untill Monday Night last when he
went in Pursuit of him and found him at a
public House in Saint George Bloomsbury and
Took him into Custody That the said John Pearson< no role >
endeavoured to Make this Escape but when he found
he could not he acknowledged he Stole the Cloak
and begged he would for give him and he would give
this Informant a Note to pay him the Value of the
Cloak on the 1st. day of June Next But this Informant
Refused Secured him and took him to the Watch house
