Sir
As'tis impossible for me to attend the Order of Court
I this Day went many times to pay my personal respects
to Mr. Recorder, but had not the pleasure of meeting
with him at Home; I must therefore Desire You'll make
my Dutiful Respects to Mr. Recorder & the Court
& inform them of my inability of Attending being to
Sett off for Buckingham Assizes tomorrow Morning
extreamly early As to R. S. Aikles all I Can say
to that is, that had the pardon been Inserted in the
Record drawn up, as it should have been, it would have
then been set out with the rest as Certified & in every
other particular think the Indictmt. must be right
but if objected to on that Accot. & it Can't be aided
by the pardons being given in Evidence, I must draw
A New one Gratis, as the Court shall please to Direct
As totheR. S. Bailey find if any Defects is therein
it is owing to the Certificates brot of the Courts
Adjudications of the Prisrs. first being a Rogue &
Vagabond & next an Incorrigible Rogue & in neither
of which it seems there's [..] any Cause set forth why
he [..] in both intances because so; the Act Makg
him a Felon, is if he Offendsandagain (means a
third time) in the manner, I apprehend must mean
