of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex

This Informant William Davis< no role >
on his Oath Saith. That on Monday
night last the Twenty eighth day of February he was Robbed in a Court
near Kingsland road
in the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
of One
Silver Watch, One Cloth great Coat, One Coat and Waistcoat, One Hat
One Silk Handkerchief, One Linnen Handkerchief, one pair of Silver
Knee Buckles, one pair of Plated Shoe Buckles and some money his
property.
This Informant Rosannah Ash on her Oath Saith that on Monday
night last about Eleven O'Clock she being then at a Public house known
by the Sign of the Crown and Thistle
in Kingsland road
in the Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch
(Middlesex
) she saw Frances Davenport< no role >
the prisoner
now under Examination in the said house standing by the Fire and
while she was there saw a Man come into the Taproom who is now
present and says his name is William Davis< no role >
who was then to appearance
much in Liquor, and Saith that the said Frances Daven Port forced herself
into the said William Davis< no role >
's Company and Asked him to give her some
Beer, And Saith that then the said William Davis< no role >
and Frances Davenport< no role >
went out of the back door of the house and presently afterwards the said
Frances Davenport< no role >
returned to the said house and told this Informant
she had locked the Man In, And further Saith that before they
went out of the said house she saw the said Frances Davenport
pick a red And White Handkerchief out of the Pocket of the said
William Davis< no role >
and the next the said Francis Davenport< no role >
desired this
Informant to take the key and lett him out of the room which she refused

day of March 1785 before.
