Council did cause to be forthwith Printed and Published in two then
successive London Gazottes and forthwith (to wit) upon the Said
Fourteenth day of February in the twenty third Year aforesaid did
cause the same Order to be transmitted to the then Sheriff of the
Said County of Southampton which said Sheriff within fourteen Days
after the Receipt thereof did cause the Same Order to be Proclaimed between
the Hours of Ten in the Morning and two in the Afternoon in the
respective Market Places upon the respective Market days of two
Market Towns in the Same County of Southampton (to wit) the Market
Towns of Ringwood and the Market Town of Christ church (the Said
two Market Towns being near to the Places where the said Offence
was charged to have been committed as aforesaid) And that a two Copy
of the Said Order was likewise within the Said fourteen Days affixed up
upon a Public Place in each of the Said two Market Towns according to the
directions and agreeable to the true Sense Intent and Meaning of the
Statute in that Case made and provided And the Said Attorney General
of our said present Sovereign Lord the King for our said present
Sovereign Lord the King further Saith that the Said George Cossans< no role >
in the said Order called a Person known by the Name of George
otherwise Teapot Labourer did not surrender himself Pursuant to
his Majesty's said Order so made in his privy Council his aforesaid but
did neglect to do By reason whereof he the Said George Cossans< no role > in the
Said Order called a Person known by the Name of George otherwise
Teapot Labourer is and Stands convicted and attainted of Felony
Pursuant to the Said Statute in that Case and provided And all these
Matters and things he the said Attorney General of our said present
Sovereign Lord the King for our said present Sovereign Lord the King
is ready to verify and prove as the Court shall award Wherefore he
prayeth on the Behalf of our Said present Sovereign Lord the King that
the Said Court here will proceed to Award execution against him the Said
George Cossans< no role > in the Said Order called a person known by the Name of
George otherwise Teapot Labourer for the Felony aforesaid according
to the Directions of the Said Statute.
