Hamlet of Mile End OldlassTown taken this
21st. day of March 1785

Who being on their Oaths say and first
the said John Carter< no role > for himself saith that
a Brown Mare Poneywith a Bridleand also a Bridle
Saddle Cot Cloth and Whip wereSaddle Cloth and a Whip werewasStolen
out of his Stable near Tyburn Road in them
Night of Friday last or early on Saturday
Morning and that the Brown Mare
together with the Saddle Bridle and
Cloth thereon now in the Possession of
James Glenton< no role > isare the Property of this
Informant and the same thatwaswere so
Stolen as aforesaid

And the said William Thornilow< no role > for
himself saith that he saw the Personwho
now present who says his Name is George
Pigeon< no role > Riding on the said Mare dour [..] Mile
End, Road which he Suspected the said
George Pigeon had Stolen That he
Stopped the said George Pigeon
and took him and the said Mare to
the Watchhouse where he was [..]
Secured and the Mare delivered into
the Care of the aforesaid James Glinton< no role >
