of the Parish of Hendon in the County of Middx Wo
Taken on Oath this [..] 19th. March 1785 Before his Majesty
Justices of the Peace for the sd. County.

Who saith that some person or persons Stole & Carried away from and
out of her premises situate in the sd. Parish of [..] Hendon about
Six o'Clock in the Evening of Thursday last a Pair of Thicksett
Breeches which she had hung out to Dry, the property of her Son
Joseph Loft< no role > That at the time she missed the same Three Men were
Drinking at her house being the sign of the Nine pen & Bowl, and that
she hath this day seen one of the Men that were Drinking at her
Course who calls himself Charles Clark< no role > and that she hath been
informed by John [..] Kilby< no role > that he found a Pair of Wet
Tricksett Breeches in the possession of the said person who calls
himself Charles Clark< no role > , in the Parish of Watford in the County of Hertford which Breeches she hath seen and on
her Oath saith that the said Breeches are the same she los [..]
as above mentioned and that she Suspects & verily
believes that the said Prisoner Stole the said Breeches
