Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex
Who
Thomas Huinston< no role >
on his Oath Saith That there hath lately been stolen from
Dwelling house in Baker Street
in the Parish of Enfield
in the
County of Middlesex
a Quantity of Lead and Iron the Property
of this Informant
This Informant John Brown< no role >
Saith that he is a Constable
of the Parish of Edmonton
in the said County of Middlesex
And Saith
that on the second day of March Instant Thomas Sams< no role >
the
Prisoner now under Examination came to this Informants house
at Edmonton
aforesaid and offered to sell Some Lead to this
Informant weight Eighty four Pounds And this Informant having a suspicion the same
had been stolen he Stopt the said Thomas Sams< no role >
upon that
Suspicion and Sams then Acknowledged to this Informant
that his Father was then waiting for him in Church street
Edmonton
aforesaid upon which Information this Informant and one Mr.
Erwood of Edmonton
was then going to the Rose and Crown
, and
the Prisoner Sams then being in this Informants Custody, Sams
called to this Informant and says there he goes, and immediately
they Pursued William Anderson< no role >
the other Prisoner now under
Examination and took him into Custody on suspicion of
having been concerned in stealing the said Lord And this
Informant further Saith that the Lord now Produced is the same
Lead that was offered to be sold to this Informant by the said
Thomas Sams< no role >
