After Mr. Sawtells Decease

Dept. John Underwood< no role > saith that After Mr. Sawtells
decease Mr. Gregory who Acted as A [..] . for Goodridge
& Hunter sent for Dept by N. Goodridge to come to
him when N.G.ye desired I wod. come over to Evans's
to Consult on the Matters Just; when I came L. Goodridge
N. Goodridge & Evans were present when it was Consulted
Vi [..] meaning the two Goodridges and Evans
proposed & advised Between the Parties that some Instnt,
were necessary to be Supposed to be Taken by me [..]
of Mr. Sawtell persons to the Exon of the supposed Will
when N: Goodridge Remembred Mr. Sawtell was at his
house on the 6th. day of Novr. 1782 from wch I was to
date & take my Supposed Instnt and at the same time was
to say I took a Copy of Mr. Sawtells will in favor of [..]
from the Oreginal wch Mr. Sawtell brought with him &
was furr. to say that Mr. Sawtell Ordered me to bring the
Draft of Such supposed will to him for his perusal
at Mr Goodridges on the 9th: Novr. 1782 being Lord Mayors
day at wch time Also sd. Mr. Sawtell was at Goodridges house
& went with him to Tallow Chandlers hall & that he Approved
of the Same; but at the same time Enjoined that I shod.
tell no person of his Intention & that I was not to Attend
with the Will for Exon untill sent for And that
Goodridge was Supposed to have been desired by Sawtell
to Set up with him for the purpose of Executg. the
Supposed Will Etc. with wch. Storey I waited on Mr.
Gregory who. Askd me many Questions thereon to all
wch I gave such Answers as perfectly Satisfied him
but desired I wod. in the Course of a few day's Let him
see my Instns. & Draft Together with the Copy of Mr.
