The Information of Thomas Bevan< no role >
Taken the 29th. day of November 1784.

Who upon his Oath Saith That he is a Haberdasher
and keeps a Shop in Great Turnstile Holborn That
about the hour of 4: oClock this afternoon Two Women
came into his Shop one of them Namely Lair Ezral< no role >
purchased a piece of Gauze That the other ( [..] Escape
from the Constable) Pulled the Piece of Gauze now
produced from off the Counter and drop it on the Ground
and the said Lair Ezral< no role > Took it up and put it under
her Petty coats That both the Women were going away
but this Informant Stop'd them and the said Lair
Ezral
< no role > Drop'd the said Gauze on the Ground, This
Informant therefore sent for a Constable and had her
Taken into Custody.-That the Gauze now produced
is his property and is of the Value of Four Shillings
