his having Stolen from this Deponent the aforesaid
three pieces of Callico from out of this Deponent
Warehouse And when before the said Majestrate
the said John Scaly acknowledged to have-
Stolen the said Callico, and that he had disposed
of the same to the said John Smith< no role > , the said,
John Smith< no role > having received the said Callico-
knowing it to be Stolen from this Depondnt,
And upon such the said John Scalys Confession
and of this Deponents Swearing to the said Callico
being his property, the said John Scaly was
Committed, And this Deponent Saith that he
having received intelligence that the said John
Smith
< no role > was gone to Ostend and in Consequence of
a Reward of Twenty Pounds offered by this Deponent
to apprehend the said John Smith< no role > he employed a
Person at a Considerable expence who went to Ostend
as this Deponent is informed and Verily believes and
by some Contrivance or Art the sd. Person prevailed on the said
John Smith< no role > to Come to Dover which he did and was
there Apprehended on Saturday last in the afternoon
and brought to London on [..] Day last And this
Deponent Saith That the said John Smith< no role > was
on the next Day being Monday taken before Mr.
Justice Hyde who Committed him upon the
Evidence of this Deponent and the said Thomas
Flint
< no role > And there Deponents both say that the
proceeded directly afterwards to the Sessions House
to endeavour to find a Bill of Indictment against the said
John Smith< no role > but they were informed that the
Grand Jury were broke up And this Deponent
Meeson Schooley< no role > further Saith That he has last Sunday
other Goods to a large Amount And there Deponent
both say that they verily believe that if this
