taken and made before me

of the Peace
for the said County
the twenty third Day of October in
the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and
eighty Four
Who on h is Oath saith,
That having on Fryday last put his
Silver Watch on the Chimney Peice of his
Bed Chamber, he this day in the afternoon
[..] ed the same & suspecting that it had been
taken by Elizabeth Pritchard< no role >
of Highgate
aforesaid
he went in pursuit of her, hearing she was gone
to Hampstead
he went to found her there.
and this Informant saith that on Enquiry it
Mr. Gilker's a Pawn brokers Shop in Hampstead
he
was informed that a siver Watch had been that
afternoon sold by a Person answering the
Description he then gave of the said Elizabeth [..]
Richard& that on producing the Watch so
sold it appeared to be the same as he had lost.
