Who being upon Oath Say and first the said Simon
Shepherd< no role >
says that about a quarter before two o Clock in the morning
of the 22nd. of October instant as he walking across Mr. Litchfields
Yard in Brick Street
Hyde Park Corner two persons now present
who cal themselves Robert Mitchell< no role >
and John Lucas< no role > This name instance is in set 1395.
in Company
with another person whom this Informant doth not know laid hold
of him threw him down and robbed him of sixteen Shillings and
Six pence and that said Mitchell kept during the time they were
robbing him crying "Kill him, Kill him" And the said Peter Hobson< no role >
says that at this time he was standing in a Necessary adjoining
said Mr. Litchfields Yard and saw said Mitchell upon the said
Shepherd who was then upon the Ground crying out for Mercy and
heard said Mitchell cry out two others with him "Kill him, Kill
him,And the said Mary Buskin< no role >
says that she saw said Shepherd
attacked by three Men who called out Murder him soon after which
they all ran away leaving said Shepherd behindAnd the said William
Warren< no role >
says that about 7 o Clock on Friday morning he went in
search of said Mitchellforto his Mother's Lodgings in Mays Build [..]
near Brick Street
aforesaidthat his Mother denied his being
at Home when this Informant insisted on Searching the Place &
found the said Mitchell in a one pair of Stairs Room concealed
by the side of a BedThat he apprehended the said Lucas about
8 o Clock the Same Morning in Sneads Court near Brick Street
