The Information of Edward Trapp Pilgrim< no role > , Lewis
Smith
< no role > , Richard Murrell< no role > , William Dare< no role > , Samuel
Harvey
< no role > and Henry Laws< no role > taken before me this
21st: day of August 1784.

Who being on Oath say and first the said Edward Trapp Pilgrim< no role >
says that two Bank Notes now produced one for fifty pounds, the either
for forty, he this Informant put into a Box, with other Notes, on or
about the 12th.. of March last, and directed the same to Mr.. Pilgrim
at Aspley in Bedfordshire, and which Box he sent to the Windmill
in Saint John Street . And the said Lewis Smith< no role > says that he carried
said Box so directed on the same Day to the Windmill in Saint John
Street , where he delivered it to one James Rock< no role > . And the said [..]
Richard Murrell< no role > says that he remembers the said Box being brought
by the said Lewis Smith< no role > and that it was packed in the Wooburn Waggar
on Saturday the 12h.. of March last, at the Windmill aforesaid. And
the said William Dare< no role > says that on or about the 22nd.. of June last he
received a £40 Bank Note from Uziel Barugh< no role > now present, [..]
to pay for Beef, which Note, Informant delivered to the said Henry
Laws
< no role > , who gave Cash for it, & which Cash Informant delivered to said
Barugh. And said Samuel Harvey< no role > says that on or about the 8th. of
July Inst Informant received from said Barugh, a £50 Bank Note to
pay for other Beef; which Note Informant gave to said Henry Laws< no role >
who gave Cash for it; and which Cash Informant gave to Barugh
And the said Henry Laws< no role > says that he did receive from said Dare
and Harvey, the two Notes as mentioned by them; and gave Cash for
them; at each of which times he put Barugh's Name on each Note
And further says that the two Notes now produced by Isaac
Castell
< no role > , are the identical Notes which he received from said Dare
and Harvey as aforesaid.
