Who being upon Oath saith that on
Tuesday last between twelve and one o
Clock a person who this Informant had
some knowledge of him met him in Great
Newport Street who asked him to go and
Drink a Glass of something with him that
he went to a public House the Corner of
Newport Street and soon after they had
been in the send House a Man came in &
sat down by the person who first spoke
to this Informant and told him he had
receive some of his Money and gave
his same Money and send he had taken
a Note of ho [..] for the remainder of the
Money, and then the person now present
who calls himself John Simmonds< no role > came
into the send Room and Joined is Company
with this Informant and the other two
Menand thewhen the Man who first went
into the House with this Informant proposed laying a Bet with
the person now present of Ten Guineas
