Who being on their Oaths say And First the Said David Nicholas< no role >
for himself Saith that his Master hath been Several times
Robbed of Divers Goods from theSaidWarehouse at the Said Wharf That having
received Information that a Quantity of Sail Clothwere
was Concealed in the House of Thomas Stapling< no role >
late one of
the Servants of the Said Edward at the said Wharf
he this Informant went there about Ten Days ago and
Saw a Quantity of Sail Cloth Secreted in a Place called
a Well under [..] a Bed in the House of the said Thomas
That on Thursday last he this Informant and the aforesaid
John Tann< no role >
went byofVirtue of a Warrant Searched the
House of the said Thomas and found the Sail
Cloth now Produced a Remnant of which he
believes is the Property of the said Edward Hore< no role >
as it answers to a Remnant found by this Informant
in a Bail nowatin the Warehouse at Mr. Hores Wharf afsd which Bail
he this Informant sent the Said Thomas Stapling< no role >
to mend abouttherethree Weeks ago. and that the
Person now Presentiswho Says his Name is Thomas
Stapling< no role >
is the Same Person in Whose House the
Said Sail Cloth was found.
And the said John Tann< no role >
for himself Saith that by
Virtue of a Search Warrant he Seized the
Several Pieces of Sail Cloth now by him produced
in the House of the said Thomas Stapling< no role >
whom he likewise Apprehended and is now
present.
