Who being on their Oaths say And first the said
Michael Task< no role >
for himself saith that this Evening
he saw the person who is now present in [..]
Name is Paul Wilks in the Warehouse belonging
to the said Messrs. Pycroft and Payne in Angel
Alley
aforesaid with a Sack on his Shoulder [..]
That on seeing him this Informant the said Paul
Wilks< no role >
put down the said Sack That the samesaid
SackContained the four Lumps of Sugar now
produced which he this Informant [..] Suspected
the said Paul Wilks< no role >
had Stolen he therefore Stopped
him until andOfficer could be sent for who took
him into Custody
And this Informant Henry Illies for himself
saith That the four Lumps of Sugar tied up in paper
now produced and marked 69 are the property of
the said Messrs. Pycroft and Payne his Masters
and that no Lumps of Sugar made up marked papered
and Tyed where in any other part of his said Masters
Sugar Housethatthan the Lump Room which is over
the Warehouse.
