is Commander now lying at Humitager Stairs
in the saul County, Admitted an Evidence on
his Majestys half against Thomas Davis< no role >
John Cooper< no role > alias Sutherland and Robert
Colvin< no role > for Felony taken this 24th. day
of October. 1783.

Who being upon Oath saith that on their Outward
Bound Passage to Ostend himself and the above three persons
stole out of a punchron about one Gallon of Run which
they drank That during the time they lay at Ost [..] the
same Parties stole two Gullons of Brandy which they
also drank shall about a Week afterwards they look in the
hold of the said ship about Eight Pounds of Tobocco
which was taken on shore and sold for about Eight
pence or nine pence perpound and the money divided believes
the said Paties amounting almost to two shillings each
person it that the night the Ship Arrived in the River
and Anchored at Dukes shore Limehoues the same
Parties took [..] Paggs which had been filled at Ostend out. of cash which lay in the Hold of
the ship containing about eight Gallons of Brandy which was
carried on Shore by the above named Thomas Davis< no role >
and Thomas Hart< no role > the Waterman who attends the Ship
and sold at her for six or seven shillings per Gallon as
Davis an [..] Out Beard Said Ship paid Informant
and Cooper and Colvin some when about Half a Guinea each
Lesthy saith that on Thursday night last to the best
of her knowledge and belief this Informant and the above-
named three persons Spiled two or three Parks of Brandy
which lay on the For Part of the Ship and drew off
about three Gallons from each cash which was taken on
Thore in Bladdery and Bottles, that he himself took
Three Guarbs of the same in a Bladdir to the house of Mr.
