Who Confesseth and that saith he hath known william Temples< no role >
now Present upwards of One Year. That on Thursday last was
fortnight said William Temples< no role >
called on him and said he should
have a Job for him to do the next Night which he wanted
somebody to help him in and desired this Examinant to call
on him at 5 o'clock the next Evening. That he accordingly
called at said Temples House at Acton Common the next Evening
at 5 o'clock when said Temples Wife informed him that her
Husband was out upon Acton Common cutting Furze

which he this Examinant went to him where he found him
endeavouring to drive several sheep to one corner of said Common
and with a Hook in his Hand catching at them. That said Temples
said he would Murder him if he said any thing for that he in cant
to take one of the Sheep [..] for that a Friend of his, Michael Hasterley< no role >
who lived near acton, and his Wife who were in great Distress. That
Hasterley had ran away and he would support the Family and that
he intented one of the sheep for the Family. That the said Temples
and this Examinant dragged one of said Sheep from off said Common
and took the same to said Temples House. That said Temples
skinned said sheep gave him the Skin and told him that it
would make him a Bolster if he would dry it
