Acting in and for the Said County the 12th day
of October 1783.
Who being on their Oaths say and first the said Grace
Henderson< no role >
for herself saith that on Wednesday the
first day of October Instant she left a Trunk containing
five goures one Green silk Peticoat one Black mode
Elsah unbined one Denitty Petticoat and the several other
Articles of Wearing Apparel now produced and several
Articles not produced with her sister at Cow Cross
and
directed her sd sister to send the same to her masters
in Mark Land aforesaid and that the several Articles
of Wearing Apparel now produced as aforesaid are her
property and the same that she so left in the said Trunk
as aforesaid.
And this informant John Walker< no role >
for himself saith that
on the said first day of October Instant he was
Directed by his Mother Sarah Walker< no role >
at Cow Cross
aforesaid to carry a Trunk containing sundry
Articles of wearing Apparel to the House of the
said Mr. Sheuez< no role >
in Mark Lane

that
Passing Along Henchurch Street Between the Hours
of six and Seven o'Clock in the Evening of the
same Day he pitched the said Trunk down on
[..] a Block there whilst he made Water That
a person comming by at the same time pretended
to have cost a Guinea and prevailed on him this
Informant to fetch him a candlewhowhich this
Informant Imprudently did and when he
returned the said person was gone to gether
with the said Trunk.
