The Information of Thomas Dyke< no role > of
Bell Yard near Temple Bar Chandler Taken
the 29th. day of September 1783.

Who upon his Oath Saith That he lives in and Rents
a House in Bell Yard in the Liberty of the Rolls in the
said County and Deals in Tea Sugar and other Grocery
Goods That he went Bed on Thursday Evening the
25th. September Instant about the hour of Ten o Clock
at which time he fastened the Shop door and also fastened
and Bolled the Street door That when he arose in
the Morning which was about the hour of half past
5 o Clock he found the doors all open and the Shop door
broke open by Violence and Two Tea Cannister with
Tea in each a quantity of Lump Sugar, Moist Sugar
some Soap and other Grocery Articles was feloniously
Taken and Carried away That the Several Goods and
Things are his property which are now produced and the
same that were feloniously Stolen and Carried away
out of his Dwelling House as aforesaid
