taken before me this 19th. day
of July 1783.
Who being on Oath say and first the said Henry Renshaw< no role >
says
that he is a Pawnbroker and lives in Russell Street Covent
Garden
That a Person now present who calls himself John
Hyde< no role >
came into this Informants Shop several times Yesterday
without any apparent Business and in a very rude Manner.
That after said John Hyde< no role >
was gone this Informant missed
the Coat now produced the property of this Informant and
which was hanging up for Sale in his Shop. And the
said John Lane< no role >
says that between the hours of three
and five o'Clock Yesterday Afternoon the said John Hyde< no role >
pawned the said Coat with this Informant for £0..10..6
saying that it was his own".
