Who being upon Oath say and First the said William
Morris< no role >
for himself saith That on Thursday Evening last
he went in Company with two Women now present who
say their Names are Mary Parr< no role >
and Bridget Murray< no role >
to a House in Johnsons Change Rosemary Lane
that
he went to Bed and Slept with the said Mary Parr< no role >
in the said House and paid one Shilling and six pence
to the Mistress of the House for the use of the said Bed
That he awaked about four o' Clock next Morning
and found he had been Robbed of three Guineas & one
half Crown out of his Breeches Pocket and one pair of
Silver Knee Buckles out of his Waistcoat Pocket
That he Charged the said Mary Parr< no role >
with having
Robbed him who Danied it and got out of Bed
and pretended she would go and get a light, but
the never returned Back That he lay in Bed
till about six o' Clock when he thought he heard
the Voice of the said Mary Parr< no role >
he got out of bed
and on Opening a Door he found the said Mary
Parr< no role >
in an Adjoining Room or place and brought
her back into the Room where they Slept
That he kept her in Custody and was going with
her out of the House in Order to give Charge of
her to the Watch when the said Bridget Murray< no role >
and a Man who had Slept in the said Room with
her all Night laid hold of him this Examinant
whilst the said Mary Parr< no role >
Escaped and
ran away. and who says his name is Daniel Sullivan< no role >
This Informant Hannah Ambrose for herself
on her Oath saith that the said William Morris< no role >
complained that he was Robbed as aforesaid
That she soon after went out to Market and
returned Back about Six o' Clock That the
said William Morris< no role >
Mary Parr< no role >
Daniel Sullivan< no role >
and Bridget Murray< no role >
were then altogether in
her room and presently after the said Mary
Parr< no role >
got awaySaith That she received
two Guineas of the said Bridget Murray< no role >
