afsd. that Yesterday about
Eleven o' Clock in the forenoon as she and
theother Informantsaid Sarah Pettit< no role >
were sitting
by the fire side in the one pair of Stairs Room she
heard a person go down stairs and on looking
whom it was saw the person now present who
calls herself Jane Hicks< no role >
with a Bundle who
went out with the same saith that on going
up stairs to another room in said House belonging
to her and theother Informant thatsaid Sarah Petitt< no role >
she found
she had been Robbed of several Articles of Wearing
Apparel and Suspecting the said Jane Hicks< no role >
immediately pursued her unto Catherine Wheel
Alley and there Stopped her and found in her possession
one Shiftandone Lawn and one Check Apron the
property ofher this Informant andthe saidSarah Petitt< no role >
& which she
had been Robbed of as aforesaidandone Linen
Shift one Pillow Bier one Check Apron and one
hand Towel the Property of her this Informant
which were likewise stolen out of the said Room
at the time aforesaid
