The Information of John Wrench< no role > Servant to
Mr. Hill of Aldenham near Elstree in the
County of Herts and Thomas Price< no role > Servant to
Mr. William Reeves< no role > of the Cock in Tottenham
Court Road Stable Keeper taken before and
this 25th. day of February 1783

Who being upon Oath say, and first the said John Wrench< no role >
says that about three o Clock in the morning of Thursday the 13th. of
February instant, as he was driving his Masters Cart with
three Horses, and a fourth a black Parey, now produced tied
to the middle Horse along the Edgward Road he was
stopped by a Man on foot who prevented a Weapon to this
Informant which appeared to be a Pistol and demanded
the said black Poney, which he untied from the other
Horses and rode away withAnd the said Thomas Price< no role >
says that a person now present who calls himself Michael
Knowland< no role > brought to this Informants said Masters Staples
in Tottenham Court Road aforesaid abt. half past
eleven o Clock in the Night of Thursday the said 13th. day
of February instant the said black Poney and put him up there
