And this Informant Thomas Johnson< no role > for
himself saith that he lies at Statton in the
Parish of Bed font that on Monday the
29h of July last about Seven oClock in the
Morning he observed the person now
Present who calls himself William
Brown
< no role > in Company with mother Person
loctering about Statton Common, that
on Tuesday Morning following about
Six oClock he observed the said William
Brown
< no role > and the other person not yet
taken among some Bushes and saw
the said two Horses now produced and
Sworn to be the property of the other
Informants Joseph Fowler< no role > and Clement
Crutwell
< no role > with them, they then went
away, that about three Quarters of an
hour after they were gone this Informant
went and Searched the Bushes and
found a Bag containing a Small Bag
a Sadle and two hatters And this
Informant further Saith that he with
other Assistance was directed to watch
for the Persons who Should take away
the said Horses when about Nine
oClock on the same Evening the said
William Brown< no role > and the other person
