Taken this 9th Day of August 1782 before me one
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County
Who being upon Oath saith that about Eleven OClock this morning being
Keepy and but then lately arrived from Gravesend
; and being
at the Red Lion in Nightingale Lane
he met with Elizabeth

& Margaret King< no role >
now presenttherewith whom he went to
the Apartments of the said ElizabethMaryJackson. [..] lay do [..]
upon the lied with her and went to Sleep. but previous
to his going to Sleep saw the other Person now here
present in the Apartment of the said Elizabeth

to whom he gave some money to procure some
Liquor That awaking very suddenly he Missed, his
Money out of his Pocket amounting to [..] Nine Guineas and
half a Crown send took from the said Margaret King< no role >
as that time Six Guineas and a half in Gold which he [..]
found in her hand and Picked one off the Floors That
Upon his giving Charge of the said three Women to an
Officer he found One Guinea more in the Month of
the said Margaret King< no role >
. That he is now the Loser of
One Guinea but that the whole was taken from him
and would have been irrecoverably last. had not he
providentially awaked as above Set forth. And Charges
the above three persons with privately Stealing the said
Money from him this Informant
