before me this 28th. day of August 1782
Who being upon Oath say, and first the said William Gaines< no role >
says that on the 16th. of July last about nine o'Clock [..] as this
Informant and the said Humphry Cornwall Woolrych
were coming from Fulham Bridge
in a single Horse Chaise
he was stopped by two Highwaymen about 100 Yards on
this side Fulham Town and robbed of a Guinea and some
silver and further says he is very sure that a person now
present who calls himself Peter Airey< no role >
is one of the
said Highwaymen that so robbed him as aforesaid
And the said Humphry Cornwall< no role >
WyWoolrych says that
he was with the said William Gaines< no role >
at the time he
was robbed and was himself also robbed by the same
two Highwaymen of some silver and further says that
he doth verily believe the said Peter Airey< no role >
to be one
of the Highwaymen that robbed him
