George Simpson< no role > of Shadwell Surgeon Saith
That he is Pupil to Mr. Grindall One of the Surgeons
to the London Hospital That the Deceased
was Brought to said Hospital on the Twenty
ninth of March last between three and four oClock
in the MorningThat he had a Wound in his
right Breast by a Stab with a Knife
And from the Deceaseds Account Informant
Supposed that the Lungs were Wounded
That the Deceased said One of his Shipmates
had given him the WoundThat Informant
Asked him if there had been any Differrence
between him and the Person who stabd' him
And he Answered NoHe could not tell any
Reason for itSaid That they had been
Drinking together all the Evening And had
been very MerryThat the Deceased went on
Deek to make Water And going down again the
Other Met him at the bottom of the Ladder
And Stabd' him Saith That the Deceased Appeared
Sensible when he told the above to Informant
But he was afterwards Delirious at times
Saith he Does not Recollect the Day on which
the Deceased DiedThat Informant with some
others Opened his Body after his Death
