in and for the
said County this 13th. day of March 1782
This Informant on his Oath saith that he was at
Mr. Stows house in Chick Lane
on Wednesday night last and that one
Moseley & Henry Stayman came up stairs and called
one Peter Douglass< no role >
, and a Sailor chap out of Bed and that
he this Informant got up at seven OClock an Thursday
Morning and then saw the said four persons with three
Fowls one of which was a Cock fowl and this Informant
saw the said person sell one of the hen Fowls at Mr. Coneys
of George yard field Lane
for one Shilling, and that they
killed the Cock and sold it to the said Mrs. Stow and
that hetheysold the other hen fowl at Mr. Kennisters
on fleet Market
for one Shilling and two pencewhich
last fowl this Informant soldand gave the money to the
said Henry Stayman< no role >
