The Information of Thomas Brown< no role > Servant to
William Brice< no role > of Queen hithe London Officer of
the Customs taken before me this 16th.. day of
April 1782.

Who being on Oath says that having lost a Great Coat out of
his Master's Stable in Bonds Stables about three Months
ago, it induced him on Friday night last to conceal himself
in the said Stable to detect any Person or Persons that should
come there to Steal again. That last night about ten minutes
part nine (this Informant being concealed therein) a Person
now present who calls himself John Marden< no role > came into
the said Stable through a Hole having first pulled away some
D [..] from the Mouth of the Hole on the outside. That the
said John Marden then un-hung two Saddles now produced
the Property of said William Brice< no role > , opened the door, and
carried them on the outside; when this Informant secured
him.

Sworn before me this
