That the Deceased was a Dane And was a
SailorThat the last Ship he belonged to was
the Ship Eccho from Petersburg

That he Lodged at Informants House and
had Lodged, thereabout Six Weeks before he
was stab'dThat Informant Asked him
many times how it happenned

That he said he had been at Browns house
at the Corner of Plough AlleyThat about
Ten oClock he came out at the back Door
And Came through the Alley towards [..]
And in the Mouth of the Alley [..]
Fellows (who were Portuguese) met h [..]
That from some of Them he received a Blow
on the back part of his Head and another
on his Forehead, And at the same time he
got the StabAnd said that he had nor
words with ThemThat he could not feel
the Stab just Then on Account of the two
BlowsAnd that he did not feel the Stab
till he got to Bell Alley That about three
oClock in the Afternoon of the same day Informant Saw the
Deceasedhe then went from Informants
That he had no Stick with himAnd Saith that
the Deceased was in his Senses when he gave to
Informant the above Account
