to be much bruised and senseless. That he took [..] into the Swan
where he wished him to sit down but Wilkins refused saying
"that he wanted to be in the Air" whereupon this Informant desired
the said Joshua Sands to attend him. And the said Joshua Sands
says that upon the said Wilkins going out into the Air, he crossed
the Road opposite the House to the other side, pretending, to Dare
himself, and instead of returning to this Informant again he
Walked up the Road. And the said Benjamin Colley< no role > says that
upon the said Joseph Read< no role > coming up and mentioning the Robbery,
this Informant went up the Road, took the said Wilkins into
custody and brought him back to this Informant's house
And further says that the next morning, at Day lights, he
found the Brace of Pistols now produced opposite his
House at Bays water.
