The Information of Mr. William Harrington< no role > of
Charing Cross Fishmonger and William young< no role > private [..] in the first Regi-
ment of Guards taken upon Oath before me William Hyde< no role > Esquire one of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County City and Liberty
this 2d. day of January 1782. and first William Harrington< no role > for himself
saith that between Six and Nine OClock on Friday Evening the 21st of December
1781 there was stolen from his Shop, three Collaw of Brawn, and a
Barrell of Pyefilt Oysters, but by whom he knows not
And William Young< no role > for himself saith that about Nine OClock on
Friday Evening aforesaid he went to Hidge Lane to Buy a Pound
of Tobacco for Mr Harah of the Kings Arms Charing Cross , and as
this deponent went he saw the prisoner Henry Coxill< no role > [..] (William Messenger< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.
and Ralph Johnson< no role > (two others not yet taken standing near the
Black Horse Charing Cross , and Ralph Johnson< no role > gave this Deponent
three pence to buy some Beer, this deponent Suspected something, and
went off a little way, and watch'd them and saw them steal from
Mr. William Hanington< no role > shop a Barrell and a collar of Brawn, and
when this deponent return'd he saw the prisoner and the two Men
not yet taken in Mr. Hanah's Tap room at the Kings Arms aforesaid
drinking, in the Morning this deponent heard Mr. Hanah. said his
Maid for having Sufferd any thing to be brought into his House, but
what he knew off, and said do you want me to go to Newgate, or you,
and Desired her to talk the Berrell and the Collar of Brawn out
of his Wash house as soon as the Maid came down stairs she Inform'd
