before me this 8th.. day of January 1782.

Who being on Oath says that on the 31st.. of December last
between 11 and 12 o'Clock at night, he met with a Womanwho
now present who calls herself Sarah Miles< no role > at the corner of
Dover Street in Piccadilly , where they agreed to go into Dover
Yard together to have connexion, That going down the Yard
(the said Sarah Miles< no role > being before him) he secretly puts
his Silver Watch into the right hand inside Pocket of his
CoatThat after he had had a connexion with said Sarah
Miles< no role > she instantly left him and immediately upon her being
gone he missed his said Watch and is therefore very sure
that she feloniously and privately stole the same.
