The Information of Robert Whiskin< no role > the
Younger Edward Green< no role > and William Wanby< no role >
taken before us the 24th. day of January 1782

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Robert Whiskin
says that on Saturday last he received of different persons for
the use of his father Robert Whiskin< no role > a Quantity of Halfpence to
the Amount as he believes of three pounds that he tied the
said Halfpence in aHalfHandkerchief now produced and
left them at Mr. Mare's a Baker in Grub Street and directed the
said Edward Green< no role > to take them from thence, and the said Edward
Green
< no role > for himself says that he accordingly took the said
Half pence & Handkerchief from Mr. Mare's & put them into his
Master's Cart, that at Mile End being informed by the said
William Wanby that he suspected a Man had taken something
out of his Cart he this Deponent observed Robert Bear< no role > foot
now present going away from his Cart that he this Informant
ran after the said Robert Bearfoot< no role > and seized hold of him
upon which the said Robert Bearfoot dropped the said Hand-
kerchief and Half pence upon the Ground, and the said
William Wanby for himself says that at the Time & place
aforementioned he saw a Men in the said Cart & get out
of the same which made him suspect he had stolen something
and that the Man whom he shewed to the said Edward Green< no role >
& whom Edward Green< no role > pursued was the same Man that he
had seen in the Cart
