taken before me this 30th.
Day of November 1781.
Who being on Oath say and first the said Shaw Farquharson
says that a Great Coal now produced in this Informants
Property and was feloniously stolen from this Informant
at the White Bear
Alehouse in Saint Catharines on the 15th. instant whilst
he was at Supper, at which time a Person now present
who calls himself William Ward< no role >
was in the House
and wanted to buy it, but this Informant refused to
sell it And the said Thomas Parker< no role >
says that
the Coat now produced was pawned with him on the 26th.
of November instant for seven Shillings by the
said William Ward< no role >
