James Ashman< no role > Near Exeter Change Strand , and
Henry Even< no role > , of Oxford Street , taken upon Oath this 18th. day of October
1781 before me William Hyde< no role > Esqr . me of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace , for the said City and Liberty, and first Thomas
Millinyton for himself saith, that about the Month of
June last Mr. Walker went into the County and Desired him
to give an Eye to his House and Servant in his Absence, that
some time after Mr. Walker wrote to this Deponent desireing
that the prisoner Edmund Arnold< no role > might he sent down in
the Country to him and that this Deponent would a [..]
one two or three Giuneas to defray his Expences down, according
by this Deponent sent to this Deponent said, Arnold desiring
he would call upon him which the said Arnold did and at the
same time [..] said he could not go to Mr. Walker unless he
had eight Guinea, that this Deponent [..] Afterwards gave the said
Arnold four Guinea to defray some little debts in Town
that soon after this Deponent gave the said Arnold one
Guinea and Half more to defray his Expences down to
Mr. Walker that several Days after calling at the House
of the said Mr Walker, and finding that the said Arnold way
