The Information of John Davidson< no role > of New Martin
Street in the Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel Carpenter
And Mary his Wife and Mary [..] The Wife of
David Mackay< no role > of the same Street Taken on Oath before us Two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the Said County

And frist the Said John David< no role > on on his Oath Sayth That on the
Twelth Instant about [..] o'Clock at noon He left his Silver Watch Value Forty Shillings
in the Fore parlour of his House and when he returned in the
Evening his Wife Mary informed him his Said Watch had been Stolen
Mary the Wife of the said John Davidson< no role > says on her Oath
that as she was in the Upper Stair Room between one and Two o'Clock a Child asked this
Informant if she wanted a Chimney Sweeper when this
Informant said No. and went down Stairs when her Neighbour
asked if She had not been robbedforbecause they [..] had
seen Two Chimney Sweepers come out of the house and run
awayThat this Informant Saw tha Watch in the Lower Room
about a Quarter of an hour beforebutAnd on looking to see
if the House had been robbed missed her said husband Watch
Mary the Wife of David Mackey< no role > of New Martin Street Shoemaker
declares on her Oath that between the Hours of One and Two
[..] on Thursday the 12 Instant She saw Two Chimney
Sweepers come out of the Dwelling house of the Said John Davidson< no role >
and run away And that she is certain The prisoner who say
his Name is James Baldwin< no role > is one of the Chimney Sweepers
who came out of the said Dwelling house
