County of Middlesex
this 26th. Day of June
1781
This Informant upon his Oath sayeth
that a Woman who Calls herself Margaret
Alderidge Did Pick him up near Holborn
Bridge
who took him to the Bull and Gate
in Holborn
where they sleep togather
in one Bed and as the Room Door was Lock
at Night when they went to Bed this
Informant is Convinced as it was Lock
in the Morning also that no other Person
had been in the said Room upon getting
up from the Bed in the Morning where
this Informant and Margaret Alderidge< no role >
had Lay'd together to his great surprise
he found that Two Guineas in Gold had
been feloniously Taking and Carryed away
out of his Breeches Pocket and as he verily
Believes by the said Margaret Alderidge< no role >
no other Person having been in the Room
with him from his going to Bed to his
rising in the Morning but the said
Margaret Alderidge< no role >
