for ye said City and Liberty who maketh Oath
and Saith that between ten and eleven O Clock last
Night he went to the Lodgings

and had
not been there long before three Men enter'd the room, and on his
preparing to go down stairs, was stopt by the said three Men,
who enquired what business he had there to which this
Deponent replied I have no business at all, my intention is
to go home,

[..] with Oath's
protested he should not go, and struck him several times
Saying, if he this Deponent did not make them a present
and send for some liquor to drink they would blow his brains
out, for that it was his room, and his wife, and what business
he had there, to which he this Deponent replied, he had no
Money, when the prisoner

andshut the door
and said you foreigner if you make a noise, you will have
your brains knocked out, or else I shall be Killed because it is
my Husband, and one of the Men blown the Candle out, and
tyed a Handkerchielf over his Months whilst the other said
hold of him, and forced him to deliver up what money he
had and took from him, Five Shillings in Silver and
Six pence in Half pence, and endeavour'd to throw him on
the Bed, to which he this Deponent throw'd himself
backward
backwardand broke the Windows , and call'd watch
and run down stairs ,and cried out, I am robbed, I am robbed
