The Information of John Philips< no role >
of New Crane in the Parish of Saint
George in the said County Esqr . Taken
this Seventh day of May 1781 before
us Two-of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace in and for the said County.

Who being upon Oath Saith that about nine O Clock
last night he was Stepped in his Carriage nearly opposite the
Salmon and Ball in Bethnall Green in the County aforesaid
by two Highwaymen each of whom presented a Pistol to
him demanded his Purse which he gave them which
being complied with they then demanded his Watch which
he the gave them and which was Gold one. That there was
A Guinea and some Silver in his Purse and that he
verily believes Thomas Holliday< no role > and William Sherbwed< no role >
two Persons now present severe the two Persons who
feloniously Assaulted him and Committed the said
Robbery.
