Middlesex to Wit


The Information of Isaac Chetham< no role > taken before me this
4th. day of May 1781

Who being upon Oath says that he is Shopman to Mr.
William Hodgson< no role > Woolen Draper No. 50 in the Strand -That this morning about
8 o Clock on hearing a Noise in his said Masters Shop he came
up Stairs, to see what it was, when he perceived, that during the
time he had been in the Kitchen a Quantity of Livery Cloth
now produced was stolen away-That he immediately ran
outside the Shop Door, and Saw a person now present who calls
himself Andrew Daniels< no role > with the said Livery Cloth upon his Shoulders
That said Daniels observing this Informant coming after him
threw the said Cloth from of his Shoulders and ran away-That he
pursued him and apprehended him in Bedford Street Covent Garden
