The Information of Peter Elder< no role > and Charles Jealous< no role >
taken before me this 25th.. day of May 1781

Who being on Oath say and first the said Peter Elder< no role > says that
he is a Servant to Duncan Campbell< no role > Esqr.. Contractor for the
Convicts employed on board the Hulks-That a Person now present
who call himself John Calcot< no role > , was a Convict under his
Care, was sentenced to seven Years hard Labour on the
Thames and escaped on the seventh of June 1778, from
the Censor Hulk, before the expiration of the Term for
which he was so ordered to hard Labour. And the
said Charles Jealous< no role > for himself says that he found the
said John Calcot< no role > at Large in the Parish of St.. James
Clerkenwell on Tuesday the 22nd.. instant.
