Middlesex to wit


The Information of Michael Cannon< no role >
taken and made on Oath before me one of
his Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for
the County of Middlesex the 21st. day of
April 1781.

Who on his Oath saith that he is Carman to Mr. Thomas
Revers Clothworker at Windmill Hill in the Parish of Saint
Luke in the said County. That on Wednesday the 18th. day of
April instant this Informant was employed in bringing a
Quantity of Broad Cloth from Messrs. Townsends and Brunsdon
in Basinghall Street to his said Master's to be cleaned and
pressed. That near Windmill Hill a Piece of Bread Cloth
about twenty [..] eight Yards in length was feloniously stolen
out of the said Cart by some Person or Persons coming behind
the Cart and taking it out at the Tael Board. That this
Informant verily believes and suspects that Joseph
Ephraims
< no role > is one of the Persons concerned in stealing the
said Cloth by Reason that on this Informants finding the
said Coth had been stolen he was informed that the Persons
who had stolen it were going with it down Tabernacle Walt.
and pursuing them this Informant saw the said Joseph
Ephraims as he verily believes among along with the
said Cloth under his Arm.
