Who being upon Oath says, and first the said Peter
Stewart< no role >
for himself says, that in the Night of Friday last a Building
of Lady Bean Clerks at Muswell Hill
was robbed of a Quantity
of Lead Says that he doth verily believe that a Quantity of
Lead now produced is part of the Lead that was stolen away
The said Jacob Milburn< no role >
for himself says that he hath frequently
seen a person now present who calls himself John Clark< no role >
in
company with another person several times (9 at his house the
Green Man on Muswell Hill
) and is very sure that the said
John Clark< no role >
was at his said House either on Wednesday or
Thursday last and further says that he hath seen a Stick
now produced (which was left near the Spot from whence the
Lead was stolen) in the possession of the other Man who was
in Company with said John Clark< no role >
at his house as aforesaid
The said Charles Jealous< no role >
for himself says that last Saturday
he saw said John Clark< no role >
standing close to a Cart near an Old Iron Shop
in Grubb Street Moorfields
and observing a Quantity of Lead
in the Shop and seeing said John Clark< no role >
carry Lead out of
the Cart into the said Shop he asked him who the Lead belonged
to, to which said Clark answered that it was his Lead, on
which he apprehended him and took the said Lead from him
