This Examinant saith that he is one of the Patroling Watchmen in
the Parish of St. Andrew
Holborn, that on Friday Night last near
an Oil Shop in Hatton Garden
he and Richard Roberts< no role >
met a Man with a Bundle which
proved to be that Coat in Question, and upon attempting to Stop the
said Man he threw down the Coat and ran away; and the Said
Richard Roberts< no role >
picked it up it being then tied in an Apron
but at what hour this happened he cannot tell
