This Examinant Saith that he is one of the Patroling
Watchmen in the Parish of St. Andrew
Holborn, that last Night
between 12 & 1 o'Clock as he and John Broughton< no role >
were going
down Holborn together at the Corner of Hatton Garden
they
saw a Man with a Bundle and on their asking him what
he had there he dropped the Bundle and ran off but
which way he took this Examinant cannot tell, that
this Examinant picked up the Said Bundle which proved to
be a great Coat tied up in an Apron, that he did not Shew
the Coat to said John Broughton< no role >
or any other person
