And this Informant further saith That Money to pay the
servants their Wages is Usually put into the said Bureau, and
Entrusted particularly to her Care, And that she very well
remember that there was in the said Bureau (destined for
that purpose) at the time it was broke open, between Four
and Five Pounds where of Two Guineas were in Gold and the
rest in Silver. And this Informant doth verily beleive that
the Two Guineas in Gold now produced, As also the Thirty
Six Shillings and Six pence in Silver now Also produced are
a part of the Money so deposited in her Husbands said
Bureau as aforesaid And this Informant further Saith,
that a Red and White Silk Handkerchief now produced
did lay upon the Bed in the Back Parlour at the time
She left the said Room between Twelve and One o'Clock

And this Informant Benjamin Lewis< no role > for himself upon his
Oath saith That he was requested by Mr. Benjamin Vialls< no role > to
go out in Search of the Person now present who Calls himself
Charles Chapman< no role > , which request was made to him at about
half an Hour past Eleven o'Clock on Saturday Night the Second
of December instant 1775, And that in consequence of the said
request he sought after the said Charles Chapman< no role > , and at
the last he found him At the Sign of the Red Lion in Oxford Street
in the Parish of Saint Ann 's Westminster [..] Company with a
Woman of the Town, That After he had Apprehended him and
telling him, it was on Account of a Robbery just Committed
in Oxford Market , he went (with the said Charles Chapman< no role > ).
as for as Blenham Steps where the said Charles Shewed
an Unwilling disposition to go towards the said Markett
And upon this Informant telling him that he Must
go and see Mr. Benjamin Vialls< no role > , the said charles Chapman< no role >
replied and said It does not signify my denying of it,
for I did it and I have the property about me
upon which he gave this Informant a Bank Note of the
Value of Thirty Pounds, which Note, this Informant gave to
