William Willson< no role > of the Parish of Christ Church in the County of
Surry Painter maketh Oath and Saith he has been informed and believes
that William Walbank< no role > is a Material Evidence in favour of the above
named Richard Baker< no role > , John Ratcliffe< no role > and Elizabeth White< no role > who stand
indicted for making and Counterfeiting the Current Coin of this Kingdom
And this Deponent Saith that he knows and is Acquainted with the said
William Walbank who lives at the Horse shoe in Goswell Street and
that he this Deponent called on him the said William Walbank on or
about the third Day of this Instant October when he the said William
Walbank informed this Deponent that he was on that Day going out
on a Journey to Chester and Liverpool which Information this Deponent
believes to be true And this Deponent then saw him set out on his
said Journey and this Deponent further Saith that on Thursday Morning
last he this Deponent by the Direction of the above named Prisoners
went to the said Horseshoe in Goswell Street to enquire whether the said
William Walbank returned when he was informed that the said William
Walbank
< no role > was not returned from the Country but that they expected him
to return in about a fortnight which Information this Deponent
believes to be true And the above named Richard Baker< no role > John Ratcliffe< no role >
and Elizabeth White< no role > his Wifeseverally make Oath and say that they on last
Thursday went to the said William Willson< no role > to enquire after the
said William Walbank< no role > who returned and informed these Deponents
that he had inquired at the Horseshoe in Goswell Street and was
there told that the said William Walbank< no role > was not returned from
the Country where he then was but that they expected him to return
in about a fortnight which Information these Deponents believe to be
true
